Always Plural

Certain words in English are used in plural forms only.

Pants, pyjamas, trousers….
Scissors, binoculars, spectacles, glasses, scales…

These words consist of two parts and are always used in plural. They are followed by plural verbs too.
My pants are dirty.
Your glasses are smart.

Certain words are used as plurals but are considered singular and are followed by singular verbs only.

News, billiards, rickets, dominoes
The news is not so good.
Rickets is a well known disease.
