A few more phrases today with the verb ‘look‘ in combination with various prepositions.
Look out means to be watchful or beware of something
Look out! There’s a dog behind you!
Look over means to quickly revise or inspect
Look over your article before submitting it.
Look through means to examine things so as to select some of them
Look through the newspaper and find out the article on yesterday’s school event.
Look through also means to look at someone without showing that he is being looked at, as if ignoring the person.
Something is wrong between them; they always seem to look through each other whenever they meet.
