Let us check out phrases with the verb ‘see‘ in combination with different prepositions…

* to see about is to make inquiries and arrangements
We have to see about the inter-school debate coming up next week.

* to see off is to accompany a person to his train/plane or any other means by which he is traveling
I will surely come to see you off at the station.

* to see out is to accompany a departing guest to the door
It is quite late and your friends must leave now. Kindly see them out at once.

* to see over is to go and examine every room of a house or a building before buying it
I saw your advertisement and I am interested in the house. When should I come to see over it?
