In ‘verbs and more’ today, we are taking up the verb look in combination with various prepositions.

Look back means to talk about the past
If you look back, you will find how adventurous your life has been and I’m happy that it’s been worth living.

Look back also means to literally turn and look behind
Don’t look back but it seems we are being followed.

Look on means to consider
Kids these days look on their parents as their enemies.

Look on also means just to watch over something
Some men kept beating the kid and people around just looked on.

Look on can also mean to be facing a side as in case of house
This house looks on to the sea and the view is simply amazing.
